This 6-piece Butt Chisel Set by Hon-Iri includes chisels in sizes 3, 9, 12, 18, 20, and 24mm. Each chisel is New Old Stock (NOS) and crafted for precision and longevity. The set comes with a custom-made storage box, ensuring your tools are well-protected and organised.
The set is a great starting point to get a variety of oire nomi sizes for beginners. Please note that the kazura (the hoop at the end of the handle) will have to be setup before the chisels can be used as intended.
Due to our offerings being second-hand, we may not always be able to ascertain a brand name, blacksmith or manufacturing origin. Most of these tools will exhibit signs of wear and tear associated with age and use of a hand tool. Our second-hand and vintage hand tools may exhibit heavy wear and defects such as rust, pitting, scratches, dents, finish loss, chips, cracks and repairs.
Any defects to a particular tool or item will be noted and described to the best of our ability in the condition description. Please check all photos carefully, as the photos form a large part of the condition description, and please ask any questions you may have prior to your purchase.
Please note: No tool has been sharpened for use, although we may sharpen tools to get edges straight and dents out.
