Quality Assured

We specialise in reviving used Japanese carpentry tools so that the essence of superb craftsmanship can live on in your workshop. We believe that tools are something to be cherished and that restoring an older tool provides great satisfaction. This is a philosophy we would like to share with our customers.

We source our tools directly from Japan. The majority are used, second-hand tools and we put our best effort into restoring their functionality. Occasionally, we also source New Old Stock (NOS), such as plane iron blanks, kanna (planes) and chisels, that have been sitting in a warehouse. Due to our offerings being second-hand, we may not always be able to ascertain a brand name, blacksmith or manufacturing origin.
